Description
Elastic insulation FWI Indy is a flexible and modulated copolymer coating based on bitumen raber and water-soluble, which is completely resistant to moisture after drying. Due to its solution in water, it is completely hygienic and harmful to humans and the environment. Elastic insulation FWI has easy implementation on cement, concrete, mosaic and ceramic surfaces. The special application of this product is the isolation and moisture insulation of concrete and mosaic roof surfaces and structures with or without reinforcing fibers and after complete quoring، It is converted into an elastic layer and, due to its elasticity, is resistant to structural movements and stresses. Elastic insulation FWI penetrates the surface cracks of the concrete and waterpowers the concrete.
Functions
Isolation and moisture insulation of concrete and cement surfaces
Typical Uses
Coating and insulation of a roofing cloth, moisture insulation of parking floors, kitchen, sanitary services and bathrooms, protective cover and elastic sealing of concrete structures, sealing of structures against moisture, earth moisture، Groundwater and hydrostatic pressure, sealing and protecting surfaces in contact with soil, sealing horizontal surfaces against rising moisture between concrete and plastered layers، Repair and sealing of old insulators, ceramic reinforcement and strength, periodic coating of prefabricated insulators to extend life, suitable replacement of isogam and bitumen.

Implementation Method
Surface preparation:
1. The substrate should be solid and free of dirt, grease and debris.
2. Remove loose parts from the surface.
3. Wet absorbent surfaces before application.
4. Repair deep cracks, pores, seams and joints with special mortars (cement base or cement plaster).
5. The corners, sides and corners should be tightened.
The implementation is done in three stages:
– First layer (penetration layer): FWI elastic insulation is diluted with water at a ratio of 1:1 and applied as a primer on the entire surface.
– Second layer: After 2 hours of the implementation of the first layer (penetration layer), FWI elastic insulation is applied thickly and at the same time fiberglass fibers or matte tissue are installed on the surface and then it is applied again with a brush dipped in the material.
– The third layer: after 23 hours of the implementation of the second layer, FWI elastic insulation should be applied thickly over the entire implementation.
✔ It should be noted that it is possible to implement FWI elastic coating without fibers or mat tissue, on low area surfaces.
is.
✔ For large surfaces where there is a possibility of cracking, use fibers or mat tissue to achieve a uniform layer
Resistant is recommended.
✔ Note that the non-dissolution of the coating and its high adhesion are achieved when the coating is completely dry, therefore
As much as possible, the coating should be carried out in suitable weather conditions.
✔ In the case of non-absorbent surfaces, such as old bitumen-based insulation, apply the coating without diluting it.
✔ Repair of old bituminous insulations: First, review the entire surface and remove all blisters or damages and repair by means of FWI. Then allow these parts to dry, then apply a primer layer by mixing water and FWI in a ratio of 1:1 on the entire surface, then apply the final layer of FWI with a thickness of at least one or two millimeters.
Implementation Tools
✔ spatula, Roller, Airless and Pistol spray.
