Pharmacology and pharmacokinetics functions of the product
Pharmacology: Osteoarthritis, a degenerative joint disease, involves chronic progressive degenerations of the cartilage, which leads to different grades of softening, brittleness, degradation, erosion. Glucosamine sulfate: Glucosamine acts as a fundamental building block for the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycans, hyaluronate and proteoglycans, which are important for collagen synthesis, degradation of which leads to the disease termed as osteoarthritis (OA). Moreover, glucosamine sulfate exhibits anti-infammatory and chondroprotective actions and thus has been shown to alleviate pain and even restore or stimulate articular cartilage formation in patients with damaged cartilages in joints affected with OA. Vitamin D is required for the regulation of the minerals, calcium and phosphorus found in the body. It improves the absorption of calcium. It plays an important role in maintaining proper bone structure and bone health. Vitamin D deficiency can cause more osteoarthritis pain and disability. It also helps in muscle protein synthesis in addition to strengthening the bone.
